Welcome! Come on it and stay a while! Today is a very special day! It is my SITS day. What is SITS? Well, it's a group of lady bloggers from ALL walks of life. We've got it all...working moms, stay at home moms, single moms, career women, teens, college age, young married ladies...you would fit right in! If you blog, check them out. Their button is on the sidebar of my blog, and there are over 8,000 women involved! It's an amazing group and I have met some LIFELONG friends from SITS.
SO. I am a stay at home mom who just started a jewelry business last July! Check it out, mention you're from SITS and get 10% off your total order!! (www.facebook.com/MGKerriJewelry)
I have a miracle child, Jacob, who is beyond amazing. I am married to a wonderful hubby, Doug, who is a cross between McGuyver and Daniel Boone. Seriously.
I live on a farm, and after growing up in the city, it's been a challenge to say the least. Here are some funny farm stories.
I also have a neuromuscular condition called Myasthenia Gravis. You can read about that here. And here...
And here.
PLEASE check out my youtube video, if you check out nothing else. It's about life with MG, and I REALLY would like to spread awareness of this hideous disease.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Leave a comment and I'll do my best to do the same!
Have a blessed day!
Fighting this disease called Myasthenia Gravis (MG) with a little humor, some good friends, and a lot of help from Above.

Happy SITS day! I've always thought it would be fun to live on a farm. Maybe someday...
Happy day for you. Interested in your Miracle Baby-- I always cry reading those!
Enjoy your day!
Happy SITS Day to you!!
congrats on your sits day:)
Congrats on your Sits day! I live with a chronic illness too- fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. I blog about it at http://www.motheringfromdaytoday.blogspot.com. It's so nice to see other people with chronic illness blogging about their experience. I will be checking out your blog.
Congratulations on your SITS day. I hope it's a great day for you.
I am also fighting chronic illness, as of yet undiagnosed (I'm guessing we will finally land on fibromyalgia). Thank you for sharing your story.
Happy SITS day. I'm completely blown away by your tenacity. I read your journey to a diagnosis. The doctor who told you you were crazy should be put on the spot for medical malpractice. And the one who narrowed it down to two things should be hailed for sainthood.
Have a great SITS Day, Kerri!
HOPE is what it's all about! HOPE and FAITH! Peace and blessings to you
Nice to meet you :) I'm visiting from SITS, off to have a look around now.

our dream is to live on a farm some day.
Happy SITS day!
We came thiiiiiiis close to buying a farm when we moved to Ohio. But we decided, given the typical winters here, it was too far from my husband's work. So we've been slowly turning our suburban backyard into our little farmette. :)
Happy SITS day!
Happy SITS Day! I've always wondered what it would be like to live on a farm.....
Happy SITS day from a fellow, or rather, gal-low sitser! I love your blog set up and can't wait to get to know you better through your writing. I assume I'll be spending a bit of time here today! Bless! Leslie

Now to look around some more!

Your site is beautiful! I wish my husband was a cross between McGuyver and Daniel Boone...maybe I'd get more fixed around the house! :)
Happy Day!
I hope your SITS day was fantastic, Kerri! I'm going to poke around your blog a bit. Don't mind me!
Hey! I came over here from SITS specifically because your blog is about chronic illness. I've been chronically ill for 12 years. And it's no fun at all. Whether you want to call it Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome or whatever, it doesn't matter. What it means is fatigue has become a way of life for me, as have immune system struggles (I have chronic sore throat, for example).
In addition, I had an acute illness last December and I am now fighting mono. So on top of having a chronic illness with fatigue as the primary component I am fighting ANOTHER illness with fatigue as the main component. Did I mention I'm tired all the time?
Unlike some who say that they are glad they have their illness because of what it has taught them, I would gladly have passed on this. I have missed so much because of my illness. It is a constant struggle to stay positive, something that I need to do for my children's sake. I have four kids and have been homeschooling for 22 years (3 of my children are grown now but my two older boys still live at home and I have a 10-year old).
You have my sympathies on what you have dealt with and are dealing with. When I first got sick I felt like I had the flu ALL THE TIME. I don't remember how many doctors I went to and how many tests I had, but I do remember being told that it was "all in my head" or that I "needed a vacation" - exactly how was I supposed to take a vacation when I could hardly get out of bed?! It was beyond discouraging. In the end, I had to diagnose myself and start finding vitamins and other supplements so that I could function again.
I hope you get lots of attention not only for your blog but for the work you are doing for awareness concerning your illness. One thing I would suggest...either make your story about your illness one whole post, or at least make the words "to be continued" a link to the next part of the story. It would help people if they didn't have to hunt for the link to the "rest of the story" (to borrow from the late Paul Harvey!)
