On-Line Degrees

On-line degrees;  are they "just" as good as the real thing?  As some of you may know, I had been looking at different schools on-line, thinking about going back to get a Master's.  One of the sites I looked at was Walden University's online degree programs. They offered degrees in Psychology, which is what I was looking into.

If you want to learn about Walden, you can check out their website at Waldenu.edu.

Just remember, if you fill out the information, they WILL contact you.  I checked into a couple of other schools as well, and one of them (not Walden) called and called to the point of harassment!  I e-mailed them telling them to stop contacting me, I called them, finally I had to go on their website to a live chat type of situation.  So, be prepared.

I do think, however, that on-line schooling has an important place in today's world.

I got half my master's degree online. It is the accreditation that you need to look for. There are several schools that are exclusively online, and their programs are set up to be that way, but there are also several colleges that offer online degree programs for most of it. The problem that I see with Psychology is that you will need to do clinical's on real people. That part of the program should not be online.
