Same Ol' Same Ol'

Once again the housecleaning issue is raising its ugly head. I can't keep a spotless house, so I am less than.

Well I'm tired of feeling less than. I do what I can when I can. And if that's not good enough, people are just going to have to live with disappointment. Lord knows I do.

If you were able to keep an immaculate house you would already be doing so!!!

Life is full of disappointments. There is noting else we can do about it.... You know what they used to say in Europe during the war
"KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"

I relate to this feeling! I try is all I can say....I hire nieces, etc when I can but not often able to do that.

It gave me such a start to see this while catching up on my blog reading this morning. I had literally just seconds before been thinking, "I really need to try to jump back on the FlyLady (cleaning program) bandwagon this week." We are mature, intelligent women - why can't we let go of seeing the cleanliness of our our houses as a measure of our self-worth? We know it's silly and unrealistic, but we still beat ourselves up over it. Sigh. I wish I had something helpful to add, but at least you know you're not alone in your frustration :)

To be rude and put it bluntly, tell whoever is annoying you about this issue to go fly a kite! (Sorry, I'm in a rude and blunt mood today!)

Cheers :-)

Kerri, I am so there with you, then I found Flylady. I kid you not, except for the aweful name, it is the best thing I have ever found. I do 15 minutes in the morning, 15 minutes in the evening nd 15 minutes of whatever my project is for the day. It has made a huge, huge difference in my life. Go to Flylady.com and check it out. The best part, it is free and they send you the todo list by email every day. You are not behind, you do not catch up. You just start where ever you are at. It too two weeks and than I could see a difference. I am a long way from done, but I am getting there!
