My poor Blackie has "hotspots" on his cheeks and he won't leave them alone. He got some mud caked in his fur, and Doug didn't notice, til it was too late and all matted in there. So when he picked it out, some fur came out, and Blackie just kept scratching at it. He finally took him to the vet and he has to wear the cone of shame....{see Clifford}
THEN, my almost-5-year-old baby (who is SO not a baby anymore....he doesn't even have ANY baby look left) got his first bee sting. Neither Doug nor I are allergic, but we didn't know for sure about Jacob. Thankfully, he is not.
Put a good ol' mixture of baking soda and water on it, and the hugest band-aid we could find (ouchies with much pain require MUCH bandaging.)
SO...Jacob is fine, Blackie is on antibiotics and other topical medication for his face.
I LOVE my dogs, but I am telling you what, spending $600.00 bucks on 3 dogs in the last 2 months is NOT cool. When these ones are gone, I am DONE with the dog thing for a looooong time.

Oh, poor Blackie!! The cone of shame is the pits!! Sounds like everyone is handling it well though. Hope you have a better day tomorrow!!
Poor Blackie and Jacob! Thank God Jacob isn't allergic to bee stings! Here's to everyone feeling better quickly.
Cheers :-)
